This blog is all about the "girls" well and Chico too but he better watch his hand biting! I do not want to start a blog about me and so that is why I keep it about the chickens, besides not many all chicken blogs out there. However since two out of three readers asked for my picture (actually there are pretty much only three readers) then I will give in. I suppose everyone wants to know who they are corresponding with so here I am, well not too ugly I hope! ;)
I am so far away you can hardly see me... almost like I planned that. Hahaha! Okay so I'm shy. I am at a park and was just about to go hiking.

My blog is like a teenage diary! in my 40's thats a bit sad.....you can't help giving a bit of yourself away!
John: That is not sad at all, it just lets readers know what your likes and interests are, a way to get to know you better.
I just started this blog as a way to see if anyone else out there has the same hobby, in the 'real' world when people find out they usually say "what, chickens... you like chickens.. that is weird Steve!"
Hey, you are not at all how I expected you to be! Thanks for that!!
Tracey x
Tracey: Interesting statement... just what were you expecting me to look like????
Truthfully? Old with a long white beard!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Sorry!)LOL

steve...
if you like chickens you cant be too bad a person!
have you any other animals by the way?
oooo, so thats what you look like. good to know!
Amy :)
Tracey: I am working every day on the 'old' part and I'm getting there! Hahaha!
John: Without going into too many details, I sort of am in partnership involving a vast herd of goldfish! Haha, does that count? My parents also live on a farm so they have a dog I consider partly my dog since I can't really have one at the moment.
Amy: Lol, your mom thought I would look like Moses or Father Christmas (Santa Claus to us) haha! Well I understand, I don't see a lot of young guys into keeping poultry.
Steven is 24 and he loves our chickens but there are not many others who would keep them.
We are going to get a frizzle Rooster and hen tonight. I am going to take some pics when we get them and put them on my blog....they really are lovely!
Amy :D
Amy: Cool! They are interesting looking chickens. A word of warning Amy, watch out for the new hen. The rooster should be fine but your other hens may go nuts to drive out a strange female entering their domain. It is hard to say what will happen, it could just be some small fights which will lead to her fitting in or they may gang up on her and try to kill her, I know that sounds harsh but hens are like that, they may try to kill her.
Thanks for the info, Steven has made a temporary cage inside the shed for them so they can get used to each other. A bit like your cage for Gracie....see i get some top tips off you!
Amy :)
Amy: Such a clever girl! ;D
She takes after her mother!
Tracey: Why yes I thought that was it! ;)
a goldfish herd.......
hummmmmm that's a new one!
